The origin story of where it began
The entire figurative aesthetic that I am involved in started with combining found porcelain body parts. It is so much fun. I have hundreds of parts in front of me, and I combine them, change them, make them balance, twist and contort. I glue the pieces together, and blend the connections with an epoxy putty. Sand and paint and they come alive. Their story, the name, usually reveal itself during construction.
